Trowbridge

Trowbridge is our longest running centre. It is very well established and always receives excellent feedback from visiting groups. As a result, we host many returning schools.

The Coordinators for Trowbridge - Pauline Connors and Haydn Briggs - are long-standing hosts with a wealth of experience and, as such, you will always be guaranteed great support throughout the stay! After many related Covid delays, Pauline & Haydn will finally be getting married in September 2022, so will then become Mr & Mrs Briggs.

Our Trowbridge Team

Each of the School groups is assigned a Coordinator who will look after the students, teachers and host families throughout the stay. As experienced hosts, they are there to ensure that everything runs smoothly and to help if you have any problems or queries.

The Administrators deal with placements and recruitment so will be contacting you with details about your students and to explain how we work.

Hosting is great fun and can bring a much needed extra income into your household. Our Trowbridge centre is very well established and we have at least 2 coaches per week arriving throughout the busy season to our Meeting Point at the Lovemead Car Park, off Duke Street & The Halve, Trowbridge BA14 8EA.

Interested in becoming a Trowbridge Host? You must be able to:

Provide a spare room – no sharing with your own family
Take a minimum of 2 students (max 4) or adults (no maximum) in single beds, bunk beds or double beds
Provide an “English Experience” breakfast, packed lunch & evening meal, as per our guidelines
Drop your students to the Trowbridge Meeting Point by 7.45am latest
Collect your students again at around 6.30pm (or later)
Provide a clean and comfortable environment
Enjoy interacting with your students
